So another week passes and I haven’t had a chance to write an article for the Project52 which I have been partaking in (not once but twice !). If you’re not familiar with the notion of Project52, it’s designed to get people to write more on their website. You write an article a week for a year, and that’s the gist of it.
To be perfectly honest, I’ve not had a chance to do much writing. Not much of an excuse, I know but it’s the truth. But it’s also had me thinking. Why do I need to write an article a week? I don’t. If I want to write something here, I’ll write it.
Quality V. Quantity
Am I right?
There’s no point waffling on about some superfluous subject if I’m only doing it to complete the Project52. Why fill up the interwebs with some poorly written & rushed article about something noone cares about. So that’s the end of that; I doubt I’ll be partaking again. There’s no offence intended to Anton or anyone else taking part in the project, you’ve probably got more time, energy and creative flow to write on a weekly basis. And as an idea, it’s a good one.
Unfortunately, it’s just not for me. It doesn’t suit my time-scales or my lifestyle.
I will be writing here still. I’ll keep you up to speed with my CoffeeApp and the progress that’s making. I’ll be posting about some hawt CSS3 goodness and some other random waffle… It just won’t be on a weekly basis.
Are you taking part? How are you getting on?
